Lombok Ceremony

1.        Bau Nyale

10.            Topat War ceremony

.       NYUNATANG

DHARMA WACANA "DANA PUNIA"



Dana Punia
    Bapak-bapak, ibu-ibu, saudara-saudara dan hadirin sekalian yang saya hormati. Pertama-tama saya sampaikan atur panganjali umat : Om swastyastu. om awigenam astu namoh siddham. Rasa bahagia tak terlukiskan menyelimuti hati saya manakala saya diperkenankan untuk menyampaikan dharma wacana pada kesempatan yan baik ini, dan Dharma wacana ini saya jadikan persembahan saya kepada Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa. Sebagaimana anjuran yang tersirat didalam kitab suci Bhagawadgita, bahwa apapun yang kita kerjakan jadikanlah sebagai persembahan kita kepada beliau.
    Dalam kesempatan yang baik ini saya ingin menyampaikan Dharmawacana dengan tema : Dana Punia.
A. Pengertian Dana Punia
    Dana punia menurut Hindu merupakan salah satu ajaran yang harus dihayati dan diamalkan. Sesuai dengan asal kata Dana Punia, dana yang berarti pemberian dan punia yang berarti selamat, baik dan suci. Jadi pengertian Dana Punia adalah pemberian yang baik dan suci secara tulus ikhlas sebagai salah satu bentuk pengalaman ajaran dharma. Dana Punia merupakan suatu sarana untuk meningkatkan sradha dan bakti kita kepada Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa.

B. Landasan Filosofis
Para hadirin yang saya hormati,
    Dimana ajaran Dana Punia juga berkaitan dengan ajaran Tattvam asi yang berarti aku adalah kamu, kamu adalah aku. Disini kita semua adalah sama. Pandanglah, lihatlah setiap orang seperti diri kita sendiri yang memerlukan pertolongan, bantuan, dan perlindungan untuk mewujudkan kebahagiaan hidup yang harmonis. Karena manusia adalah makhluk sosial, yang memerlukan bantuan orang lain. Seperti yang di tuangkan dalam kitab suci Veda: “ Vasudhaivakutumbakam” yang artinya semua makhluk adalah bersaudara.      
    Para hadirin yang saya hormati, Memahami dan menghayati ajaran Tattvam asi sudah semestinya kita saling tolong menolong terhadap sesama. Bila kita menjadi orang kaya bantulah orang yang miskin (tidak mampu), Bila kita kuat bantulah orang yang lemah, dan Bila kita berilmu bagilah ilmu itu yang sesuai dengan ajaran dharma.

C. Landasan Sastra Dana Punia
    Para hadirin yang saya hormati, Ada beberapa kitab yang menjelaskan tentang Dana Punia antara lain :
1.     Manawadharmasastra
” triswapye tesu dattam hi widhina apyarjitam dhanam,
datur bhawatyan arthaya paratra daturewa ca ”
artinya :
“Walaupun harta itu dperoleh sesuai menurut hukum (dharrna) tetapi bila tidak didermakan (disedekahkan/diamalkan) kepada yang layak, akan terbenam ke kawah neraka”. (Manawadharmasastra IV. 193).
2.     Sarasamucaya
                ” amatsarryam budhah prahurdanam dharama ca samyamam’
                avasthitena nityam hi tyage tyasadyate subham ”
                artinya :
“Adapun yang disebut dana punia adalah nasehat (wejangan) para pandita, sifat yang tidak dengki, taat melakukan Dharma, sebab bila semua itu dilakukan dengan tekun, ia akan memperoleh keselamatan sebagai pahala dan dana punia”. (Sarasamuccaya 170).
Ø  Para hadirin yang saya hormati, Jadi bisa saya simpulkan dari ke dua sloka tadi adalah
-        Walaupun kita mencari uang atau harta kekayaan sesuai dengan ajaran dharma. Tetapi kalau tidak di dana puniakan itu tidak mendapatkan  berkah  bagi kita sendiri.
-        Selain itu , dana punia tidak terbatas hanya materi saja tetapi, bisa juga non materi. Yang terpenting dengan tulus ikhlas. Menurut Swami Wiwekananda ada 3 yang termasuk Dana punia yaitu :
a.      Dharmadana : memberikan budi pekerti yang luhur untuk merelisasikan ajaran dharma.
b.     Widyadana : memberikan ilmu pengetahuan
c.      Arthadana : memberikan materi yang berupa harta benda didasari rasa tulus ikhlas dan di peroleh dengan ajaran dharma.
D. Waktu Yang Tepat Untuk Berdana Punia
Para hadirin yang saya hormati, Kapankah waktu yang tepat berdana punia?
    Sebenarnya secara umum tidak ada batasan untuk berdana punia. Kapanpun itu, asalkan di landaskan dengan tulus ikhlas.
Dari Sloka Sarasamuccaya 183 yang berisi perincian waktu yang baik untuk berdana punia, dapat di simpulkan bahwa:
a)     Uttarayana : saat matahari berada di utara katulistiwa (tepatnya saat purnama dan tilem)
b)     Wisuwakala : saat matahari tepat berada di katulistiwa (tepatnya saat purnama dan tilem)
c)     Daksinaya : saat matahari berada di selatan khatulistiwa (tepatnya purnama dan tilem)
    Maksud dari ketiga penjelasan itu adalah tepat pada saat purnama dan tilem, dimana adanya piodalan di suatu pura, banjar, dan pura lainnya disanalah waktu yang tepat kita menghaturkan punia walaupun sedikit tetapi dengan hati yang ikhlas.
E. Kualitas Dana Punia
    Para hadirin yang saya hormati, sebelum saya menjelaskan tentang kualitas Dana Punia sudahkah anda berdana punia?
    Kualitas dengan dana punia di era globalisasi saat ini, sangat tidak selaras dengan ajaran Agama hindu kita, terutama bagi para remaja saat ini dan beberapa masyarakat tidak mengerti tentang berpunia. Mereka lebih suka menghamburkan uangnya dari pada berpunia. Seperti halnya membeli bensin untuk jalan-jalan dan membeli pulsa berani  untuk sms-an dengan temannya. Selain itu masyarakat juga salah pengertian tentang makna dan kualitas dari Dana Punia itu sendiri. Seperti halnya, masyarakat member punia dari uang yang tidak sesuai dengan dharma dari hasil berjudi, korupsi, atau hal-hal negatif lainnya. Sebenarnya kualitas Dana Punia yang benar adalah tidak ditentukan oleh besar atau kecilnya dana yang di puniakan tetapi sangat terantung pada ketulusan hati seseorang yang memberikan punia dan uangnya tersebut di dapatkan sesuai dengan ajaran dharma.
F. Kesimpulan
    Para hadirin yang saya hormati jadi kesimpulannya adalah marilah kita mulai berdana punia mulai hari ini dengan memberikan sesuatu yang kita miliki kepada orang lain sesuai kapasitas masing-masing. Bagi yang masih berstatus pelajar, bisa memberikan ilmu kepada teman-teman kita, bagi yang sudah bekerja bisa menyisihkan uangnya untuk disumbangkan kepada fakir miskin dan anak-anak terlantar. Ingat, satu pemberian kecil bisa berdampak besar buat orang lain. Jadi marilah kita berusaha untuk melakukan minimal satu dana punia setiap hari dan jadikanlah hal tersebut sebagai sebuah kebiasaan, lalu lihatlah keajaiban-keajaiban yang terjadi dalam hidup masing-masing, janganlah berdana punia untuk sekedar pamer semata.
